I never was a cottage cheese lover until I learned to make it sweet. I always remember my mom eating it but never like this. I’m pretty sure there was pepper involved. The first time I tried cottage cheese on my own I was looking for a protein packed snack that was easy. I found a great recipe that was a mix of cottage cheese, cocoa powder, peanut butter, and stevia. It was good and I was hooked.
I’ve been trying out different combinations to make a sweet, high protein, cottage cheese snack and here’s one that I really like.
Cottage cheese, berries (blackberries, raspberries, blueberries..), 1 packet of stevia, small drop of vanilla. Mix it up, mash the berries, mix some more. Then eat!
